Mobile Applications make it easy for you to extend the power and flexibility of Infinity to your intranet, internet and WiFi and mobile devices . The browser-based platform makes it possible for physicians and staff to access the Infinity Directories, On-Call Schedules, and Reports with just a few keystrokes, and without having to involve an operator.
The Hospital-Wide and Mobile Applications are protected by access security, and can be tied to LDAP stores or an active directory, or can be application-based, depending on your organization’s needs.
The Enterprise Directory includes a Messaging component that makes it possible for users to send messages to any individual listed in a Directory.
Messages can be saved, faxed, e-mailed or paged to a person listed in a Directory. When the user selects Messaging, the names of the sender and the recipient are automatically inserted in the message. The Messaging feature also can be accessed from an individual’s inbox screen.

RED ALERT’s optional Desktop Notification component enables recipients to receive alert messages on any computer equipped with the RED ALERT client desktop application. The desktop application is installed on all recipient computers that need to receive desktop alerts. This application runs in the background, giving recipients access by clicking an icon in the System Tray or by pressing a pre-assigned hotkey. Recipients automatically receive an alert notification in the form of an instant message with no need for operator involvement or other actions.

The Mobile On-Call Scheduling Application makes it easy for physicians and staff to view and update their schedules. The browser-based schedule enables users to create, view, search and edit scheduling information with no operator involvement Mobile On-Call Scheduling presents schedules in daily, weekly, and monthly views. The Rolesbased Mobile On-Call Schedules detail the types of resources needed and assigned, the shifts that need to be covered, and the individuals who are able to provide coverage.

MiteyMite is a desktop application that runs in the background, and is accessed by clicking the icon in the user’s Windows® System Tray, or by pressing a pre-assigned hotkey. Users can generate calls, and send e-mail messages, paging messages, SMS text messages, and instant messages directly with no need for operator involvement or other software.
